Announcing the new Atomik Carbon Phatty fat rim. 85mm wide with 32 hole drilling, the fat rim features a unique, semi double wall construction with a core of aerospace foam sandwiched in during the molding process. The foam core adds damping characteristics while also becoming an integral part of the structure, increasing rigidity and strength overall. A thick 3.5mm sidewall with a slight hook aids in retaining the tire bead at low pressure. Final production weight will be sub 580 grams per rim, +/- 15 grams.
